• 1.5 kg salt cod, left to desalinate overnight and then drained
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 1 chilli pepper
  • 1 spoonful of vinegar
  • 33 cl olive oil
  • ½ spoonful of red pepper


Prepare a mixture of 4 shredded cloves of garlic, 4 shredded tomatoes, 1 crushed chilli pepper, 1 spoonful of vinegar, 33 cl of extra virgin olive oil and half a spoonful of red pepper in a bowl. 

When everything is well macerated, mix with the cod.

The dish is typically accompanied by onion, tomato, olives and a few slices of pepper.
